ARIZONA STATE RIFLE & PISTOL ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION/RENEWAL

This organization (ASRPA) consists of individual members and affiliated shooting clubs and has been affiliated with the NRA since 1909.  The original Arizona State Rifle Association was organized in 1909 and merged with the State Pistol Association which had been founded in 1934.

The Association is also affiliated with USA Shooting and other national shooting associations and with CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) formerly known as DCM.

The Association has three primary roles; competitive shooting events, education and training and PROTECTING YOUR RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS.

The ASRPA is totally dedicated to promoting the legitimate firearms owner's constitutionally-guaranteed right to own, bear and use firearms for sport hunting, target shooting, and the protection of home and family.

The ASRPA promotes competitive shooting in all forms and assists affiliated clubs in publicizing and conducting shooting matches throughout the state.

The ASRPA conducts adult and junior shooting education programs and assists affiliated clubs with their education and training activities.

The ASRPA encourages and promotes training in hunter safety, marksmanship, and successful operation of Junior Rifle Clubs and Junior Olympic Shooting Programs, and other Junior Shooter development programs.

The Association's newsletter, THE BULLET TRAP, informs the members of legislative, club and match news.  It is provided to all individual members; family memberships will receive one copy; associate members will receive none.
