ARIZONA STATE 600 YARD CHAMPIONSHIP

1. RANGE LOCATION: The Ben Avery Shooting Range, 25 mi. North of Phoenix, AZ. ½ mile West of I-17 on the Carefree Hwy. (Exit 223).

2. FACILITIES: A Camping area, with electricity, water & toilet facilities are available during the matches,
for competitors only.

3. RULES: Current NRA High Power Rifle Rules shall apply.

4. ELIGIBILITY: All competitors must be paid up members of the ASRPA. ($25.00 for adults, $10.00 for
juniors). If a competitor does not wish to join the ASRPA, he/she may pay a $10.00 match membership fee. All competitors must show their ASRPA membership card at the stat office when they are obtaining their squadding or pay the 10.00 match membership fee.

5. ADVANCE ENTRIES ARE REQUIRED: All entries must be paid for in advance.

6. INDIVIDUAL ENTRIES:  If you wish to pay by check, please use the following registration form, check to be made out to ASRPA HP Division and mail to:  Andrew Cyr, 17802 N 13th Place, Phoenix, AZ 85022. Phone: (602) 361-1488   Arizona State 600 Yard Championship Registration Form  Fees paid by those unable to attend will be refunded upon request, providing cancellation is made prior to 6:00 PM Monday, Nov 09, 2026. There will be no refunds for those cancellations after that time.

7. ENTRIES CLOSE: 6:00 PM Monday Nov 09, 2026. Entries after this time are considered late entries and may be accepted to fill vacancies on existing relays only.

8. ENTRY LIMITS: 90 Individual entries.

9. FEES: All individual matches Sat. & Sun adults $90.00, Saturday or Sunday adults $50.00

Reminder: Everyone who is not currently a paid-up member of the ASRPA must select one of the following options:
a. Those wishing to be a member of the ASRPA may do so by submitting appropriate fees ($25.00 for adults; $10.00 for juniors).   OR
b. Those who do not wish to be a member of the ASRPA must pay a $10.00 one-time match membership fee.

CHALLENGE FEE: $1.00 The challenge fee must be paid at the time the challenge is requested.

10. PRACTICE FIRING:  There will be a 600-yard practice on Friday Nov 13, 2026.

11. TARGETS:  MR-1 & MR-1FC

12. TARGET SERVICE:  This match will be fired on ShotMarker E Targets.

13. EMPTY CHAMBER INDICATOR (ECI):  Approved NRA empty chamber indicators are required to be used except during the preparation period and firing of the relay. Those not having an ECI may purchase one at the Stat. Office for $2.00 each.

14. SQUADDING: All matches will be squadded. Squadding tickets for individual matches will be issued at the Stat. Office starting at approx. 7:30 AM Saturday Nov 14 and Sunday Nov 15. A competitor who fails to obtain his squadding ticket by 8:30 AM will only be squadded to fill up vacancies.

15. SCORING: Competitors will score. Any competitor failing to perform his scoring duties may be disqualified.

16. CLASSIFICATION: NRA High Power Classification will be used. Rule 19.6 “Assigned Classification” may be used. Those unclassified or without proof of classification, will be required to compete in the Master class. Please indicate classification on the registration form.

17. DIVISION BY RIFLE: Matches #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, Any/Any (Division A), Palma (Division P), Service (Division S), F-Open (Division O), F-TR, (Division T),
NOTE: Individuals may use a different rifle in each match as long as the rifle qualifies for the same division.

18. CATEGORIES: Service, Military Veteran and Civilian.

19. AWARDS: Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd match aggregate winners in each division on Sunday. Award groups must contain a minimum of 5 competitors, or they will be combined with the next appropriate award group per policy. Second, third, fourth place, etc.

SPECIAL INDIVIDUAL AWARDS: In match #7 High Junior will be awarded.

20. CHALLENGE PERIOD: The challenge period ends 30 min after the posting of the match results.

21. RESULTS BULLETINS: Results bulletins will only be mailed to those people requesting them. The match results will be posted on the Desert Sharpshooters website.
