Service Rifle Family Smallbore Course – Winter Semester (12 weeks) begins January 8, 2026 at the Ben Avery Small Bore Range

The Service Rifle Smallbore Course teaches children ages 10 and up and their Parents how to compete in CMP and NRA Highpower Competition. The course covers safety, equipment, positions, and other areas to improve focus and concentration. The course should produce a precision rifleman, responsible firearm owner, and someone ready to participate in rifle competition.  The course is 12 weeks, every Thursday night at the Ben Avery Smallbore Range.  Two weeks of classroom and 10 weeks of live fire on the range with Service Rifle Instructors and Range Safety Officers. All Equipment is furnished except for Eye and Ear Protection.
